Job Description

Fit For Work, a service of Harvard MedTech, seeks an Injury Prevention Specialist to deliver onsite and virtual workplace injury prevention, early intervention, and ergonomic services for diverse industries. In this field-based role, you will assess job tasks, perform ergonomic and musculoskeletal screenings, provide coaching and education, and recommend data-driven solutions to reduce injuries and workers' compensation costs. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support continuous learning, and help employers improve safety, productivity, and employee well-being nationwide. Responsibilities Conduct onsite and virtual ergonomic assessments of workstations and job tasks Provide early intervention and musculoskeletal screenings for employees Deliver injury prevention education, coaching, and exercise programs Develop and implement ergonomic and injury prevention recommendations Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely Collaborate with employers, safety teams, and HR to improve workplace safety Analyze trends and use data to drive injury reduction strategies Participate in continuous learning and clinical/ergonomic skill development Support return-to-work and modified duty planning as appropriate Travel between client sites as needed within assigned territory Required Skills Ergonomic assessment Musculoskeletal screening Injury prevention program design Workplace safety and OSHA awareness Functional movement assessment Report writing and documentation Employee education and coaching Data analysis of injury trends Return-to-work planning Use of ergonomic measurement tools
