This pivotal role involves overseeing the management, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems within a manufacturing or industrial environment. The successful candidate will ensure that all facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. This position offers an opportunity to apply advanced engineering troubleshooting skills, manage diverse maintenance teams, and implement innovative solutions to optimize facility performance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams to ensure the effective management of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures in accordance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Oversee the inspection, diagnosis, and repair of HVAC systems, electrical systems—including high voltage and low voltage components—and mechanical systems. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting complex engineering issues. Manage facilities maintenance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to schedule work orders, track repairs, and optimize resource allocation. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting regular safety audits and training staff on proper procedures. Coordinate projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for audit purposes. Monitor facility performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions proactively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including management, safety personnel, and external contractors to uphold high standards of operational excellence. Qualifications Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial environments. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair—including HVAC systems—and electrical systems repair involving high voltage and low voltage components. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industrial safety standards. Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial control systems is highly desirable. Skilled in project management with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record keeping. Excellent leadership skills combined with effective communication abilities in English. Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience in troubleshooting engineering issues across various mechanical systems. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for efficient repairs. Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair procedures is essential.
