Job Description

Overview We are looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Maintenance Engineer to help keep our equipment, vehicles, tools, and facilities operating safely and efficiently. This role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Manager, Director of Operations and broader operations team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with basic plumbing work, troubleshooting, and general maintenance, along with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, forklifts, tools, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. Perform mechanical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks as assigned. Support the Operations Team in completing scheduled and emergency maintenance needs. Diagnose equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and recommend or complete appropriate repairs. Complete work orders with minimal supervision while prioritizing tasks based on urgency, safety, and operational impact. Assist with facility upkeep, groundskeeping, and emergency maintenance when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and office spaces. Track maintenance activities, communicate repair needs, and report equipment concerns promptly to the Director of Operations and Warehouse Supervisor. Work collaboratively with the Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Manager and Director of Operations to reduce downtime and support daily operations. Qualifications Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing equipment. Experience with general maintenance and groundskeeping preferred. Ability to troubleshoot problems, use basic tools and diagnostic equipment, and complete repairs safely. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage work orders, prioritize urgent needs, and work independently. Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to support a variety of maintenance needs across multiple facilities. Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to continue learning and developing technical maintenance skills. The Maintenance Engineer will be dependable, proactive, mechanically skilled, and comfortable working on a wide variety of maintenance tasks. This person should take pride in keeping equipment and facilities running smoothly, respond quickly to operational needs, and communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
