Job Description

Kelly Benefits is seeking a hands-on Senior Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our corporate office and critical building systems. This role serves as the primary technical resource for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, life safety systems, and facility improvement projects.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, fire protection, and emergency power systems.
  • Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate facility repairs and oversee vendor and contractor performance.
  • Support office renovations, capital projects, and space planning initiatives.
  • Manage maintenance requests and facility documentation through Freshservice.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, inspections, and emergency preparedness requirements.
  • Assist with facilities budgets, asset management, and cost-saving initiatives.
The standard schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Senior Facilities Engineer must also be available to respond to building emergencies, critical equipment failures, and after-hours facility needs, including occasional weekend support. This is an active, hands-on role that requires frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, bending, lifting, and manual maintenance activities. Work is performed throughout a commercial office building, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoor areas. The position may involve exposure to changing weather conditions, noise, and mechanical equipment.
