We are hiring for one of our clients, a leader in the building materials industry. Join their team as a Senior Maintenance Engineer to help construct what's next. The Senior Maintenance Engineer will develop and implement technical and mechanical improvements for the Seattle facility.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor reliability-based systems including preventative maintenance systems, lubrication, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
  • Create preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment, including mobile equipment.
  • Develop and implement the DSCQP inspection program.
  • Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques.
  • Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF and NAI of major equipment.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
  • Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization.
  • Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.
  • Contribute to the area budget and accountability for results based on defined KPIs.
  • Provide daily feedback to the maintenance lead hand and maintain a field presence to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Perform activities relating to the plant's predictive maintenance and equipment health program in partnership with the maintenance team.
  • Support the development of best practices and processes to ensure plant activities are optimized and costs are best-in-class.
  • Contribute to the development and application of plant policies and procedures.
  • Help develop goals and objectives to implement actions, track performance, and continuously look for opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in developing the plant's capital plan and implementing plant capital projects.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 3 years of professional experience in the job offered, as a Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or in a related maintenance position within the cement or mining industry.
  • 3 years of professional experience with each of the following: + Working in a maintenance capacity in the cement or mining industry.
+ Working with ball mills, materials classifiers, large-scale fans, and heavy conveyors. + Using SAP for maintenance work orders and parts inventory management. +...
