Full Job Description Description:
Engineering Technicians assists engineers with creating products, improving manufacturing methods and developing and maintaining assembly methods for new or existent products. Support day to day Production with equipment issues along with material testing Assist engineers as they create, modify, and test products and processes. Participates in process development by giving practical feedback. Builds R D prototypes jobs. Assists Product Engineer as needed. Schedules manufacturing of R D prototype jobs to meet customer delivery dates. Uses BMS on a daily basis to review/ update status of jobs, scheduling and open orders. Assists in development of manufacturing processes and routers for R D prototype jobs. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Demonstrates ability to self-motivate and to problem solve in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Must have good documentation practice. A proven understanding of part workmanship. Ability to analyze data and make recommendations. Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing defects. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to seek and accept feedback from others. Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Working conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Candidate must be able to perform the physical responsibilities of the job utilizing arms, hands, and fingers to perform complex functions of manufacturing parts and performing other duties of the job; e.g., standing, sitting, walking throughout the facility and stairs, bending, squatting, and kneeling, etc. Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 lbs.
Pay :
$22.00-$27.00/hour
