Job Description

Position Summary ehs International, Inc. (ehsInc) is seeking an experienced EHS Consultant to lead client engagements involving regulatory compliance, industrial hygiene, safety management, and risk reduction. This role manages projects from proposal development through field execution and technical reporting while providing practical, business-focused solutions that strengthen compliance and improve operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead EHS compliance assessments, audits, hazard evaluations, industrial hygiene work, and gap analyses across client operations. Guide incident investigations, corrective action strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives that reduce operational risk. Develop, implement, and maintain written safety programs, policies, procedures, and training that align with regulatory requirements and client objectives. Monitor and advise clients on developments within OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and related EHS requirements. Prepare executive-ready technical reports summarizing findings, exposure assessments, risk evaluations, recommended controls, and corrective actions. Support business development initiatives through client engagement, proposal preparation, networking, and strategic opportunity identification. Partner with clients, leadership, and stakeholders to strengthen client relationships and support a proactive safety culture. Qualifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation required. Bachelor's degree in related field (Preferred). 5-8 years of progressive EHS experience, including hazard assessments, industrial hygiene evaluations, or safety audits in general industry, construction, or water/wastewater settings. Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and related EHS regulatory frameworks. Field-ready professional comfortable conducting site walks, sampling, and equipment use in industrial and construction environments. Excellent verbal communication, client presentation, and relationship management skills. Strong project management, organizational, and time management abilities. $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
