Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our organisation. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective environmental, health, and safety programs across our company. This role requires a strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe and sustainable work environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement company-wide EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. Produce results against goals and objectives Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively. Establish and maintain effective communication channels to promote EHS awareness, provide training, and encourage employee engagement in EHS initiatives. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans to prevent future occurrences and ensure the continual improvement of the EHS management system. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including senior management, operations, and human resources, to integrate EHS practices into all aspects of the organization. Monitor EHS performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for proactive measures. Keep up-to-date with EHS regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends, and provide recommendations for updates to policies and practices as needed. Liaise with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance and address any EHS-related inquiries or inspections. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Manage and maintain EHS records, documentation, permits, and licenses as required by regulatory agencies.

Education, Experience and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

BS degree in business or engineering Proven experience 5 years in EHS management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations and standards, such as OSHA, EPA, and

ISO 9001/2015.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct risk assessments, data analysis, and develop effective strategies. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels of the organization. Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Professional certifications in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) are highly desirable. Proficiency in using EHS management systems, databases, and software tools. Ability to travel periodically to different company locations, as required.
