Learn more at www.easyflexusa.com. Position Overview Easyflex TX is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer specializing in Fire Protection and Fire Sprinkler Systems . This is a sales-focused technical role responsible for understanding customer projects and technical requirements, recommending appropriate products and solutions, and converting opportunities into sales. The position will support fire protection projects by reviewing drawings and specifications, assisting with product selection, preparing technical documentation and quotations, and working directly with contractors, distributors, engineers, and OEM customers. This role will also support the management of product certifications and compliance requirements , including UL, FM, and other applicable industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop new sales opportunities within the fire protection and fire sprinkler markets. Build relationships with contractors, distributors, engineers, OEM customers, and project accounts. Review project drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and product applications. Recommend appropriate products and technical solutions based on project requirements. Support customers with product selection, application questions, and technical information. Prepare and coordinate quotations, technical proposals, submittals, product data sheets, and supporting documentation. Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, job-site visits, and project follow-up. Manage sales opportunities from initial inquiry through quotation, approval, purchase order, and delivery. Support project bidding, product approvals, and specification-related opportunities. Manage and maintain applicable product certifications, listings, and compliance documentation. Coordinate certification renewals, testing, audits, and documentation with certification agencies, manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams. Support new product certification and compliance requirements. Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, Warehouse, and Operations to support customer and project needs. Monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements. Meet assigned sales and business development objectives. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in technical sales, fire protection, fire sprinkler systems, project sales, application engineering, estimating, or a related field preferred. Experience with fire protection, sprinkler systems, valves, fittings, piping, mechanical products, or related products strongly preferred. Experience working with contractors, distributors, engineers, OEM customers, or project-based accounts. Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, product data sheets, and technical documentation. Strong B2B sales, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills. Experience with quotations, pricing, proposals, and project coordination. Ability to manage multiple projects, quotations, and customer requests. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and ability to travel for customer meetings, job-site visits, and trade shows. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to reliably commute to the Lewisville, Texas office. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience in the Fire Protection or Fire Sprinkler industry. Experience selling to fire sprinkler contractors, distributors, or related commercial customers. Familiarity with UL, FM, NFPA, ASTM, or other applicable industry standards . Experience with product certification, testing, renewals, audits, or compliance documentation. Experience with CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce or NetSuite. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fire Protection, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred. Equivalent industry experience may be considered in place of a degree. Korean language skills are a plus but not required.
Compensation Base Salary:
$85,000-$110,000 per year Performance-based bonus opportunity Final compensation will be based on relevant industry experience, technical knowledge, sales experience, customer relationships, certification experience, and qualifications.
