Job DescriptionIf you're driven to solve complex supplier quality challenges and want your work to directly improve product performance, reliability, and delivery—this role puts you at the center of it.

As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead the investigation, analysis, and resolution of supplier-related quality issues while strengthening supplier performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What You'll Own and DriveLead validation, qualification, and change control activities through thorough documentation and technical reviewEnsure external production processes align with internal standards for consistency, traceability, and regulatory complianceInvestigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, delivery delays, and supplier quality issues quickly and effectivelyAct as the key liaison between internal engineering/operations teams and external manufacturing partners to drive alignment on changes, escalations, and quality expectationsManage investigations into externally manufactured product issues, including deviations and change controlsConfirm effectiveness and long-term sustainability of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)Ensure suppliers meet all internal quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirementsHow You'll Make an ImpactYour work will directly:

What You'll Do:
Resolve supplier quality issues: Investigate, analyze, and drive timely resolution of supplier non-conformances using structured root cause and corrective action methodsEnsure supplier compliance and performance: Conduct supplier audits, monitor KPIs, and ensure adherence to internal standards, specifications, and regulatory requirementsDrive continuous improvement: Analyze defect trends, identify systemic issues, and lead initiatives that improve supplier quality, reliability, and operational efficiencyPartner cross-functionally: Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to align on requirements, support supplier selection and qualification, and drive performance improvementsManage supplier relationships: Build strong partnerships with suppliers, fostering accountability, transparency, and shared quality goalsMaintain documentation and reporting: Ensure accurate records of investigations, audits, and improvement activities; provide clear, actionable updates to stakeholdersMitigate risk and build capability: Identify supplier risks, implement mitigation strategies, and train suppliers on quality standards, processes, and best practices
QualificationsWhat You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent combination of experience, training, and certifications)Experience working with AS9100 and/or ISO9001 - A Must Have!

Annual Hiring Range:
$93,000-$120,000. Final rate will be determined by relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.

Trade Compliance Statement Access to our facilities is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Persons (U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, U.S. Nationals, U.S. refugees, asylees, or temporary residents under amnesty provisions ), and to properly licensed foreign persons.
