Position Summary The Quality Manager leads all quality functions, including quality systems, customer and supplier quality, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role ensures compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and

while driving quality, problem-solving, and customer satisfaction across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to the following: Responsible for actively supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives of the facility. Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949, customer-specific requirements, and company procedures. Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and improve overall quality performance. Develop and implement quality tools and methodologies, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, and corrective/preventive actions. Lead investigations, containment, root cause analysis, and resolution of internal, customer, supplier, and audit-related quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Root Cause Analysis). Plan, coordinate, and lead customer, supplier, third-party, and internal quality audits, ensuring timely corrective actions and compliance. Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, development activities, PPAP approvals, and ongoing performance monitoring. Support new product launches, engineering changes, and cross-functional initiatives to ensure quality requirements are met. Monitor and report quality metrics, including PPM, scrap, warranty claims, audit results, and KPI performance. Lead, mentor, and develop Quality personnel while collaborating with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Ensure calibration systems, inspection processes, and testing procedures remain compliant with company and customer requirements. Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company during customer visits and quality audits. All other reasonable duties as assigned by a supervisor or any member of management. IATF 16949, ISO
standards, customer-specific requirements, and quality system methodologies. Experience leading audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to build collaborative working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, quality reporting tools, ERP systems, and statistical analysis software. Ability to travel occasionally to customer, supplier, or company locations as needed. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment; automotive industry experience strongly preferred. Previous leadership or supervisory experience managing quality teams required. Strong working knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, and customer-specific requirements. Experience with structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and Root Cause Analysis. Proficiency in GD&T interpretation, blueprint reading, and metrology practices. Experience using precision measuring instruments and gaging equipment. Knowledge of supplier quality systems and supplier development processes. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or similar ASQ certification preferred. Experience with ERP systems and quality management software preferred. Proven ability to implement process improvements and achieve measurable quality results. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, assembly, stamping, molding, or related industrial operations preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements This position is primarily performed in a professional office environment with regular interaction throughout the manufacturing facility. Occasional travel between company locations or to off-site meetings and events may be required. The manufacturing environment may include exposure to machinery, moving equipment, forklift traffic, noise, temperature fluctuations, and other industrial conditions, requiring adherence to all company safety policies and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering production areas. The physical requirements of this position include the ability to sit for extended periods while performing computer-based work, as well as the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office and manufacturing facilities as needed. The employee must be able to operate a computer, telephone, copier, and other standard office equipment, communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communications, and occasionally lift or move office materials weighing up to 20 pounds. The ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple priorities, and work occasional extended hours to support executive schedules, meetings, company events, and business needs may be required. Pay:
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
