Job Description

SUMMARY:
Develops and implements manufacturing process improvement programs for the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead project planning and project management of small capital upgrades to the plant. Implement process improvements to reduce cost and increase efficiency. Analyze how process changes will effect overall production and the product. Perform troubleshooting on plant equipment and systems. Designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Compiles data, establishes regular communication of data, and facilitates action plans to ensure continuous improvement of quality, cost, and delivery. Analyzes and plans space requirements, workflow; designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Conducts product and production failure investigations; implements corrective actions; prepares reports to communicate problem/resolution/progress. Compiles and writes training materials; develops and conducts training sessions. Works collaboratively with appropriate departments/teams to develop product design and tooling processes to ensure efficient production methods. Interfaces with outside suppliers to determine product specifications; coordinates purchase of equipment, materials, and/or parts; evaluates products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Estimates future manufacturing requirements and potential. Analyzes data for process investigations, productivity improvements, cost analysis, regulatory filings; documents and communicates results. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field. Two to four years related experience or equivalent. Commitment to excellence and high standards Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
