Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to serve as the driving force behind supplier quality and manufacturing excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of supplier partnerships and precision manufacturing, ensuring incoming materials meet the highest standards before they ever reach the production floor. You'll work closely with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams to conduct audits, resolve quality concerns, drive corrective actions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that ensure exceptional product quality from receipt through final production. Key Attributes 1. Knowledge and understanding of production processes in the field of mechanical production and assembly. 2. Conducting internal quality audits. 3. Performing quality audits and Supplier Certification (FAI). 4. Knowledge and experience of Measurement Methods and Measurement Tools 5. Certification and training of employees/auditors. 6. Handling quality issues with suppliers. 7. Handling quality problems with customers. 8. Conducting fault investigations and locating the root of the problem, defining corrective and preventive activities (CAPA). 9. Coordinating the issue of supplier evaluation and subcontracting. Professional Experience 1. Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years in quality assurance. 2. Extensive knowledge in reading technical drawings. 3. Knowledge of manufacturing process - machining, metal, metal castings process. 4. Ability to perform geometric inspection for metal parts using standard measuring tools. 5. Understanding computerized (CMM /GOM/OGP) inspection process. Education 1. Degree in mechanical engineering. 2. Degree in quality assurance (CQE, CQM, Lead Auditor) an advantage. Behavior 1. Good interpersonal communication with colleagues, representatives and suppliers. 2. Employee management ability. 3. Diligence and dynamism. 4. Work independently, responsible and organized. 5. Reliability. 6. Ability of work under pressure.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
