In this vital role, you will assist in performing hair restoration procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes. Your expertise will support the surgical team through precise technical tasks, meticulous preparation, and adherence to infection control standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative hair restoration treatments in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Prepare the surgical area and assist during hair transplant procedures by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and aseptic technique Collect and document patient data including vital signs, medical history, and treatment details using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or similar platforms Assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety, including monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to patient needs Maintain sterile field protocols, infection control standards, and proper sterilization of surgical tools such as suturing equipment Support the surgical team in performing suturing, tissue handling, and other technical tasks requiring anatomy knowledge and physiology understanding Manage medical records accurately while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and confidentiality regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital or ambulatory surgery center settings to optimize patient outcomes Requirements Proven experience working in hospital medicine or outpatient surgical environments such as ambulatory surgery centers or OR settings Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques necessary for surgical support roles Experience with data collection related to patient care including vital signs monitoring and medical documentation Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or EHR platforms for accurate record keeping Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in trauma center protocols or emergency medicine are advantageous Excellent analysis skills for assessing patient conditions quickly and accurately in high-pressure environments Knowledge of hospital medicine terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and pediatric care considerations is highly desirable Join us if you're passionate about advancing hair restoration treatments while delivering exceptional patient care.
