Duties Lead the conceptualization, detailed design, and development of mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD Perform tolerance analysis, mechanical drafting, and 3D modeling to ensure precise fit, function, and manufacturability of products. Develop mechanical schematics, detailed drawings, and machine design specifications. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support CNC machining, assembly processes, and building information modeling (BIM) tools integration. Ability to co-ordinate and manage project schedules, and ensure timely delivery of mechanical engineering projects. Apply mechanical knowledge in areas such as machine design, tolerances, mechanical detail drawings, to support engineering product development. Skills Extensive experience with CAD software including SolidWorks, and 3D CAD modeling for product design. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles related to machine design, tolerances, and mechanical drawings. Proficiency in manufacturing processes within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Skilled in root cause analysis techniques to troubleshoot design or process issues effectively. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), is advantageous Experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with exposure to CNC machining and mechanical product development projects. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
