Job Description:
Quality Engineer - Manufacturing Addison, IL We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer for an established advanced manufacturing operation. This is an onsite, full-time, Monday-Friday opportunity for someone with a strong background in manufacturing quality, process improvement, and quality systems . Key Responsibiliti esDevelop, document, and implement process controls, SPC, testing, and inspection metho dsLead root cause analysis and corrective action initiativ esDrive process improvements to improve quality, efficiency, and consisten cyLead and support CAPA activities and corrective actio nsConduct internal quality system audi tsSupport APQP, product validation, and process verificati onDevelop and maintain quality metrics and reporti ngPartner with engineering and production teams to prevent quality issu esUtilize tools such as DOE, DFM, FMEA, GD&T, process capability, and Six Sig maParticipate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities and failure analys isDevelop and support quality training, including blueprint reading and new employee quality traini ngManage larger quality projects and coordinate timelines, resources, and communicati on Requireme nts5-7+ years of relevant manufacturing experie nceStrong understanding of manufacturing processes and tool ingStrong knowledge of
