• Develop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and equipment performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to select and integrate mechanical components.
• Specify motor horsepower, gearbox torque, bearings, shafts, and other components for various applications.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure machinery designs meet efficiency, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support the development and improvement of machinery and mechanical systems. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in machinery design and development.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD 2D.
• Strong understanding of materials science, mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with welding methods and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop creative and practical engineering solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively with production teams, vendors, and suppliers.
