Job Overview Spinnaker Contract Manufacturing is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes within our PCBA and electronics manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting the FactoryLogix Manufacturing Execution System (MES), developing manufacturing process flows, maintaining work instructions, and ensuring accurate production data to drive efficient, repeatable assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with FactoryLogix
MES , PCBA
manufacturing, and supporting production in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Configure, maintain, and optimize FactoryLogix MES workflows. Translate PCBA manufacturing processes into FactoryLogix, including: SMT assembly Through-hole assembly Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and visual inspection Test instructions Conformal coating instructions Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process documentation. Release and support production work orders. Manage customer documentation, specifications, and approved deviations. Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and implement revisions within the MES. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Test teams to support manufacturing operations. Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and provide engineering support on the production floor. Support ISO 9001 and
ISO 13485
quality systems, compliance activities, and audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturing efficiency, process accuracy, and data integrity. Required Experience & Skills Experience in PCBA or electronics manufacturing. Experience with FactoryLogix or a similar Manufacturing Execution System (MES). Working knowledge of SMT and through-hole assembly processes, soldering techniques, and inspection methods. Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, Gerber files, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and customer documentation. Strong attention to detail with a process-oriented mindset. Experience supporting production in a manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 and
J-STD-001
preferred). Experience working in an ISO 9001 and/or
ISO 13485

Pay:
$62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
