Minimal; occasional travel to suppliers, customers, and tooling shops Position Overview The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial concept through full production launch. This role will determine how new products can be manufactured efficiently, reliably, and at scale while partnering closely with engineering, operations, quality, tooling, and production teams. Key Responsibilities Lead manufacturing-readiness activities for NPI projects from tooling kickoff through production release. Evaluate product manufacturability and production requirements. Determine tooling, packaging, automation, equipment, labor, and process-capability requirements. Develop cost estimates and quoting inputs for labor, tooling, packaging, automation, machinery, and manufacturing processes. Define, qualify, and validate new manufacturing equipment and processes. Support PFMEA, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities. Create work instructions, SOPs, project records, and production-handoff documentation. Train operators and support production teams during new-product launches. Monitor launch metrics and manage the transition from engineering into ongoing production. Prepare and evaluate RFQ packages for packaging, automation, and post-processing equipment. Manage project scope, action items, deadlines, and communication throughout development and launch. Work directly with suppliers, customers, tooling shops, and internal cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience. 4+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or new product launch experience. Experience with injection molding and/or blow molding. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and process validation. Strong communication, organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Additional Experience IQ, OQ, and PQ experience. SolidWorks or similar CAD software. ERP systems. IQMS/DELMIAWorks. Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing-floor work. Highly collaborative environment involving engineering, production, quality, tooling, and operations. Minimal travel to suppliers, customers, and tooling partners. Benefits Company covers approximately 87% of employee healthcare costs. Medical, dental, and vision coverage available immediately upon hire. 401(k) with 50% company match on contributions up to 6%. Vacation/PTO negotiable based on experience, with a typical starting point of 2 weeks. PTO accrual cap of 240 hours. Flexible holiday PTO bank, allowing employees to choose which major holidays they take off. Why Join This Team This is an opportunity to take real ownership of how new products move from concept to production. You will have a direct impact on manufacturability, tooling, automation, equipment, process validation, and successful product launches rather than being limited to sustaining existing production. You'll work alongside experienced engineering, tooling, quality, and operations professionals in a collaborative, family-oriented team environment. As you take ownership of increasingly complex NPI and manufacturing-launch projects, there is room to grow into senior engineering, lead engineering, engineering management, or advanced engineering leadership opportunities.
