HumanHire is partnering with a global contract manufacturer of medical devices, seeking to add an experienced CNC Swiss Manager to their growing team in Hicksville. The CNC Swiss Manager will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting CNC lathes or milling machines, with a strong preference for experience with CNC Swiss screw machines. This individual will lead the maintenance team, minimize equipment downtime, manage maintenance schedules and budgets, and ensure a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. What we offer

CNC Swiss Manager Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise maintenance staff, managing daily work assignments, schedules, equipment repairs, and preventative maintenance programs. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machinery, production equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations. Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, outside vendors, and service contracts while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, applicable safety standards, and

ISO 13485

requirements. Oversee facility maintenance and improvement projects, promote workplace safety, and collaborate with production and management to support manufacturing operations. CNC Swiss Manager Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of maintenance management or related leadership experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining CNC Swiss screw machines, such as Tornos/Deco or Swiss Nano; candidates with Citizen, Star, or other CNC lathe/mill experience will also be considered. Strong technical knowledge of CNC machinery, mechanical and electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and general facility maintenance. Proven leadership, organizational, multitasking, time management, and problem-solving skills, with experience managing maintenance schedules, budgets, and outside vendors. High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or a related degree is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams required; CMM certification preferred.
