This position plays an important role in helping Genesee Global successfully bring customer-designed products and parts into production. Working closely with Manufacturing, and Quality, the Manufacturing Project Engineers are responsible for developing efficient manufacturing processes, supporting CNC and automated equipment, and helping ensure new projects transition smoothly from customer requirements to production. This role provides the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while developing practical engineering and manufacturing expertise. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide programs for CNC machinery, including turrets, lasers, press brakes, machining centers, and robotic welders.
  • Develop efficient, well-documented manufacturing processes for customer parts, including sheet metal, machined components, and assemblies.
  • Support and collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to resolve production challenges and improve processes.
  • Develop and implement cost-reduction activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the company's safety and quality programs.
  • Develop advanced manufacturing plans for new projects and products.
  • Review and identify customer requirements and ensure they are effectively incorporated into manufacturing processes.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between customer requirements, drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Help streamline the transition of new products from project development into efficient, repeatable production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improved quality, efficiency, and manufacturability. Qualifications
  • A.S. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with engineering and manufacturing software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam, Stryker, or similar platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining strong time management and organization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Additional Qualifications (Preferred, Not Required)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or metalworking environment.
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, or mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Compensation & Benefits
Salary:
55,000
