Job Description

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Prepare and implement cost-effective procedures to produce quality products from inception through production on new products and existing products. Develop job routing processes and write programs for machine operation processes. Coordinate manufacturing processes with all departments: quoting, purchasing, data entry, production personnel, quality and shipping. Responsibilities /
Qualifications:
  • Read, analyze and interpret the most complex documents, blue prints, and customer drawings and perform all necessary calculations.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and approve drawings, job routings, and job travelers in the manufacturing process.
  • Generate, write and/or edit CNC programs, laser, press and water jet programs.
  • Manage job through complete process from job quoting, layout, data entry, material request for purchasing, streamlining or outsourcing services to make job cost effective and review job when completed. Following established procedures and approved processes.
  • Must be proficient with computer equipment/ software, Auto Cad, ProE or SolidEdge and CNC MasterCam programming, and machine tooling design.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be quality orientated with a high attention to detail and able to work with quality and manufacturing departments to define problems and implement improvements.
  • Be able to evaluate and solve production problems.
Qualifications and Skills Must have excellent organization skills. Must have proven multitasking skills and can work under extreme pressure.
