In the role of a Manufacturing Engineer Technician - Furnace Control at the Rocky Mountain Bottle Co in Wheat Ridge Colorado you will be part of the RMBC Tech Services team. Our maintenance team is the lifeblood that keeps our plant going. You will play an important role in ensuring that our production facility is running smoothly so we can make as much of our great beer as possible. You are responsible for maintaining and improving our electrical and controls systems. Drive operational reliability and improve plant efficiency, both proactive and reactive, for all the electrical/controls systems and environmental reporting systems. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert on these systems & be responsible for continuous development of our Instrument Controls Electricians.

What You'll Be Brewing:

Skilled in working relationships, team building and communication with all levels of plant personnel.\nUnderstand and implement modern technologies, including electrical components, communication systems and control systems. Should be able to upgrade obsolete components with modern equivalents.\nWork with project teams to ensure good engineering design methods and operational parameters. Able to provide feedback to plant engineering, maintenance and operations management on problem solutions and steps required to avoid future problems.\nMust be able to minimize production downtime using effective and efficient multi-craft, troubleshooting and repair skills.\nMust be able to work effectively under pressure with the skills required to analyze and solve problems and implement technical solutions. Able to make accurate decisions with minimal supervision.\nHas advanced understanding of process optimization.\nYou will be the department SME in programming, troubleshooting and diagnostic repair of controls systems used in the department (such as Communication protocol, CelSian, PLC5, SLC500, Siemens, Intellution iFix3.5, Panel View software, current and legacy OI MCS, ControlLogix).\nResponsible for the training and Development of Instrument Controls Electricians.\nAnalyze equipment performance data, maintenance history, and failure trends to identify improvement opportunities and reliability risks.

Must be 21 years of age or older\nHS diploma or GED required.\nMust demonstrate skills in the following: interpersonal relationships, active listening, team building, communication, problem solving, planning, organizing, scheduling, safety minded and negotiating with continuous improvement focus.\nMust possess self-control, initiative, patience, influence, and a positive attitude.\nMust be able to receive and give constructive criticism.\nThis position requires a strong mechanical aptitude to be effective in this role.
