In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment by executing sanitation procedures across production areas. Your efforts will ensure that all processes adhere to strict safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality food production through industrial cleaning and sanitation excellence. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and production areas using appropriate chemical agents and industrial cleaning techniques Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling procedures and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) including respiratory protection when required Follow detailed sanitation schedules to ensure compliance with GMP, food safety regulations, and company standards Conduct routine inspections of cleaning processes, documenting sanitation activities and reporting any deviations or hazards Use basic math skills to measure chemicals accurately and verify cleaning supplies inventory levels Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to cleaning supplies or equipment movement while maintaining safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including janitorial duties such as trash disposal and surface disinfection Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial setting preferred Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemical handling safety procedures required Experience working in environments that follow GMP standards or food safety protocols is highly desirable Basic math skills for measuring chemicals and verifying quantities Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in a fast-paced production environment Knowledge of safety protocols related to chemical handling, respiratory protection, and general sanitation practices Join us in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our manufacturing facility!
