Job Description

PAINT LINE PEOSTA IA 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT
$22.71 + $2.00 shift differential The Paint Line Utility is responsible for preparing, hanging, removing, inspecting, and packaging parts on the powder coating line according to company and customer specifications. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, efficiency, and attention to detail while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and hang parts on the powder coating conveyor line to support efficient production. Remove finished parts from the powder coating line and package them according to customer specifications. Inspect parts for quality, proper coating, and compliance with established specifications. Use and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection when applicable. Maintain 5S standards in and around the work area to promote a safe, clean, and organized workplace. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and production standards. Support production and continuous improvement efforts as needed. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production requirements. Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to identify opportunities for improvement. Basic ability to use and navigate various computer systems. Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods throughout the work shift. Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures. Willingness to wear required PPE and work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and fumes.
