Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting continuous process improvements. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to efficient manufacturing operations, safety adherence, and overall product excellence. Duties Operate manufacturing machinery and assembly lines efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards. Use measuring instruments and technical drawings to verify product specifications and ensure precision in assembly processes. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, with proper safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical knowledge to assemble components accurately and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly. Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical instructions to execute tasks correctly within manufacturing workflows. Conduct routine inspections of machinery using measuring instruments and ensure all equipment is maintained in optimal condition. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production facilities. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets while managing workflow effectively. Qualifications Prior factory experience or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting production documents. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques. Experience operating forklifts or warehouse equipment is advantageous; certification is a plus. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and manual handling procedures. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and process improvement strategies is desirable. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks consistently throughout shifts.
