Kember Kreative Sawmill is seeking an experienced machine operator to run our Plywood Peeler Line. Key Responsibilities Make adjustments to peeler as needed to maintain excellent product quality and peeler throughput Perform daily setup procedures Maintain a clean and orderly work area Repair, set up and adjust peeler machine for required sizes Recognize and eliminate defects due to machine setup Perform all duties in accordance with mill safety processes and procedures Assist with other equipment maintenance as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications A minimum of 2 years employment experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment OR equivalent technical training. Able to work safely around moving manufacturing equipment and machinery. Able to work overtime, holidays, as well as night shift and weekends. Able to work in extreme temperatures, dusty and noisy conditions, while wearing safety protective equipment. Able to perform labor intensive work and essential job functions of the position, which may include climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, work from heights, and stand or walk for 2-3 hours at a time for 10 hours. Will be required to pass a preemployment drug screen and be negative for marijuana
