MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Perform equipment changeovers and process adjustments to ensure optimal machine uptime, efficiency, and product quality.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform full changeovers on machinery and equipment within assigned production areas. Ensure production parts meet required specifications. Complete all required documentation and submit to the shift supervisor upon completion of tasks. Carry out changeovers and first-piece approvals within allocated time standards. Perform minor machine adjustments within work cells to support production efficiency. Ensure tooling is properly organized, stored, maintained, and accounted for at all times. Verify all machine guarding and safety devices are in place and functioning before releasing equipment to operators; adhere strictly to all safety procedures including PPE requirements. Provide machine operator support when not engaged in primary duties to maintain production flow. Assist with changeovers in other areas as required to support overall production uptime. Maintain personal tools required to perform job duties effectively.

GENERAL:

Complete all required administrative tasks accurately and on time. Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Support efforts to reduce non-conforming product and improve overall quality. Follow all safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture at all times. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and work standards.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Shift Supervisor. Regular interaction with production team members and other functional departments is required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in equipment set-up within a manufacturing environment (e.g., CNC bending, calibration, perforation or similar machinery). Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with operators and management under pressure. Demonstrated ability may be considered in place of formal educational requirements for internal advancement. Basic computer literacy required.

ATTENDANCE

Full-time attendance required with availability for overtime as needed. Must be flexible to work various shifts.

TRAVEL:

Occasional travel may be required for customer or supplier visits and/or training purposes, including local and air travel as needed.

PHYSICAL / AGILITY REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift and maneuver tools, equipment, and production materials up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended periods (8-10 hours), and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. Frequent walking and climbing required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fluctuating temperatures, concrete flooring, oils, and coolants. Work may be performed in a team-based production setting.

Pay:

$22.00

•$25.00 per hour
