What you'll tackle Set up and operate tools, machinery, and equipment strictly to provided instructions and specifications. Select, stage, and secure the appropriate tooling for each assignment. Mount and secure workpieces on machine tables or fixtures using clamps and wrenches. Continuously observe machine operation and output to verify quality performance. Adjust machine controls to regulate and optimize performance. Inspect tooling; repair or replace components when required. Verify proper operation against key specifications such as fixtures, cutting speeds, and feed rates. Escalate issues promptly to your immediate supervisor. How you'll keep us running Serve as the department communicator for status meetings, management updates, and shift-change handoffs. Maintain equipment so it never compromises safety. Deliver work that is safe, consistent, and meets quality standards. Identify, tag, and remove nonconforming materials from the process. Accurately complete all required paperwork on schedule. Partner with other departments whenever coordination is needed. Keep your work area clean and organized throughout the shift. Follow all company rules and policies at all times. Perform other related duties as assigned by your supervisor.
