Job Summary Creative Composites, Inc. is a manufacturer of Composite Components for the Automotive, Marine, and Defense Industries. We are excited to list open positions for both its 1st and 2nd Shifts, in our Molding Department. As a Composite Technician, you will learn the Skilled Trade of all aspects of Composite Molding. Everything from Mold Prep to Lamination and Demolding. With fiber materials such as Fiberglass, Carbon fiber, and Kevlar. Do you have a high attention for detail? Duties/Essential Job Functions:
Handle resins, epoxies, chemicals, carbon, and composite materials with care, safety to preserve the quality of the materials, and eliminate contamination and foreign debris. Using hand and power tools Assist in the layup and curing of fiber materials using pre-preg and wet layup techniques. Perform complex layups without assistance Maintains layup tooling & fixtures for operational readiness Prepare molds and tools for composite layup (cleaning, applying release agents) Understands how to properly handle and store raw material and layup parts Understands proper techniques to avoid air pockets, bridging and surface defects Cut fiber materials using a utility knife/scissors from templates/patterns Demold and handle parts using proper care and PPE Record basic production data as needed All other duties as assigned

From $17.50 per hour
