Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Composite Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and inspecting composite materials used in advanced manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality composite components that meet strict safety standards and quality specifications. Duties Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and assembly instructions to ensure precise fabrication of composite parts Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and other equipment to assemble and repair composite components accurately Use forklifts and manual handling techniques to move raw materials and finished products safely within the factory setting Conduct quality inspections utilizing measuring instruments to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface finishes according to specifications Follow safety protocols rigorously, including heavy lifting procedures and process safety standards in accordance with industry regulations Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and implementing lean manufacturing practices Collaborate with manufacturing management and assembly teams to meet production targets while maintaining high safety and quality standards Qualifications Proven factory experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in composite or mechanical assembly environments Hands-on experience with measuring instruments, technical drawing interpretation, and mechanical knowledge Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other factory equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting and manual handling procedures Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed manufacturing instructions Experience with assembly line operations and managing production or assembly teams is a plus Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence, process improvement, and continuous learning in a manufacturing setting
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
