Sand and remove burs from scissors forgings using the Burr King Sanders. 2. Visually inspect products to meet quality standards. 3. Inform supervision of any production or quality problems. 4. Maintain minimum standard rate to meet demand and create efficiencies to get products to customers. 5. Report daily count of production parts, scrap, and labor hours by completing required paperwork. 6. Replace sand paper, as needed. 7. Maintain a clean and orderly work area by complying with established 6S standards to promote a safe work environment. 8. Perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work. ​High School Diploma (GED) is required. Must be familiar with OSHA rules and regulations to create a safe working environment. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience using a belt sander is a plus. Must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Basic math skills are required. Ability to work well with others. Ability to recognize and report safety hazards and understand the importance of machine safeguards. No travel is required. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to: Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day. Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift. Bend and twist the neck and waist intermittently. Push and pull assisted loads as needed. Lift up to 45 pounds. Work in a manufacturing environment that is hot, loud, dirty, and fast-paced. The work is physically demanding. Pay Range:
