THIS IS A

2nd

SHIFT POSITION ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Support production in order to meet or exceed established efficiency goals and other MOS measurables.

Supports production in setting up and operating machinery and equipment in a safe manner in accordance with approved procedures. Adhere to all safety regulations.

Performs all required weld repairs, adjustments, and modifications to machinery and parts.

Participates in continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, methods, and work environment through trouble shooting and problem-solving exercises.

Complies with all quality and environmental system requirements.

Contributes ideas and actions promoting environmentally sound business practices.

Treats all other team members with respect and dignity.

Performs other essential functions as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to pass weld qualification test to Ford weld specs

Requires operator to wear extra PPE such as weld helmet and gloves

Able to lift up to and including 50 pounds

Must be flexible and willing to travel

High regard to quality and takes pride in their work

Meet minimum qualifications as contained in the PPI selection process.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Computer literate. Good understanding of

GMAW. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Team members must be able to stand on concrete floor for the duration of work shift, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, bend to the floor, and use arms and hands. The team member must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and repetitively lift 10 - 20 pounds to a height of 48 inches. Visual precision is needed for reading documents, machine dial gauges, and possibly blueprints and precision measuring instruments.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Stamping and assembly factory environment, and subject to high noise levels from operational machines and physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
