$22.00

•$22.50 / hour +

PM Job Type:

Full-time Position Overview We are hiring a Production Assembly Technician to assemble custom engine packages and subassemblies. This role relies on mechanical skill, blueprint reading, and precise measurement to build heavy-duty power systems to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly:

Read blueprints and schematics to align, fit, and build engine packages, subassemblies, piping, wiring, and fixtures.

Precision Measurement & Testing:

Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component clearances; run operational tests on finished builds to ensure compliance with technical standards.

Fabrication & Tool Usage:

Operate hand and power tools (drills, taps, reamers, wrenches) to modify, adjust, and fit parts during the assembly process.

Inventory & Material Handling:

Prep build packages, organize parts, and operate forklifts to safely transport materials across the shop floor.

Quality & Equipment Maintenance:

Identify product defects, record quality checks on production logs, perform basic equipment maintenance, and maintain a clean work area.

Cross-Training:

Cross-train across multiple engine lines and departments to support changing production needs.

Requirements Experience:

Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly, engine work, or hands-on mechanical experience.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Technical Skills:

Ability to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and basic computer proficiency.

Physical & Operations:

Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs; open to forklift operation and cross-training.
