JOB SUMMARY

The F&P Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating assigned slitting equipment while ensuring products meet quality and productivity standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Setup

• Configure and set up the slitting machine according to job specifications. Adjust blades, guides, and other machine components to achieve the required cut widths. Material Loading
• Load raw materials, such as coils or rolls, onto the slitter for processing. Ensure materials are properly aligned and tensioned to prevent issues during production. Production Operation
• Operate the slitter to cut materials into specified widths and lengths.

Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent product quality and meet production goals. Identify and address production issues as they arise. Follow established safety and quality procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Minimum 1 year of Slitter Operator experience required. Must have experience operating a press machine. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to successfully pass a measurement test. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to interact professionally with employees and coworkers. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Must be comfortable working around manufacturing and production equipment.

TEST MUST BE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS A MEASUREMENT TEST!

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to accurately understand and work with measurements as part of the hiring process.
