Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your hands-on mechanical skills and technical proficiency will help deliver quality products efficiently while adhering to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, including power tools and measuring instruments, ensuring optimal performance. Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and assembly instructions to accurately execute tasks. Conduct mechanical assembly and use hand tools to assemble components according to specifications. Manage manual handling and heavy lifting safely, following all safety standards in production areas. Utilize forklift and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the facility. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Maintain a clean, organized workspace that complies with safety standards and manufacturing protocols. Requirements Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a solid understanding of production processes. Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in using measuring instruments, power tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and risk mitigation. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams. Familiarity with process improvement techniques such as lean manufacturing practices. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
