Manufacturing Engineering Technician I, EMS1
Location :
Leesburg, VA On-Site About Zoller / EIT EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology)-Zollner is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician I to join our team in our Leesburg, VA location! EIT is a Contract Manufacturer specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services and serves customers in the sectors of Industry, Communications, Aerospace, Defense and Healthcare, and we're proud to build a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in their work.
Job Summary:
Support the Manufacturing Engineering team by quoting new and repeat assemblies, creating panel drawings for customer PCBs when required, identifying processes that may have tooling needs at time of quote (routing, press fit, wave solder, etc.), and designing and ordering SMT stencils.
Essential Functions :
1. Use customer files to generate quotes for new and repeat assemblies. 2. Use various CAD/CAM softwares to create SMT Stencils and PCB Panels. 3. Assisting Engineering with machine programming and operation when needed. 4. Use of Excel and ERP system to create and review labor quotes. 5. Maintain manufacturing documentation, incorporate ECNs 6. Work with Program Managers and Production Manager on ready to build status updates.
Education Requirement:
High School Graduate /
Current College Student Experience Requirement:
Experience in manufacturing or engineering is preferred but not required. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA): Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software and ERP systems Working knowledge of Excel and office Quoting experience
Working Conditions:
Flexibility required for meetings across multiple time zones.
Work Location:
Leesburg, VA Schedule:
9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
$20-22.5 per hour
Environment:
Warehouse setting with climate-controlled work areas
Physical Requirements:
Regular lifting of up to 30 lbs, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
