This position will closely provide technical troubleshooting and resolution support to a variety of production equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Must have above average computer knowledge and experience. Knowledge may include knowing the components inside a PC; understanding the basics of how networks communicate; what an IP address is and how it is used to view machines and their information; the ability to install drivers and troubleshoot errors on a printer; have basic knowledge on databases for making and editing formats.
  • Must be advanced in Microsoft Office knowledge and experience. This includes understanding formulas on Excel, VB basics desired. Creating, modifying SOP's and cheat sheets using Word, Excel and PDF conversions.
  • Must have good technical communication skills. Must be able to effectively and accurately communicate with other technicians, leadership members and IT staff regarding technical issues and potential solutions. Understand and interpret through technical lingo.
  • Qualified applicants should demonstrate ability to work as an individual and as part of a team. Will be responsible for assisting stamper operators in all levels of operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Basic mechanical experience. Candidate should be able to pull things apart and put them back together correctly. Some electrical knowledge, understanding relays, photoeyes, fuses, and basic multimeter functions.
  • Must have great flexibility and adaptability skills to new software including those for cameras, printers, labeling, accounting, reporting, etc.
  • Must have Ability to learn new technologies efficiently
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred
  • BarTender software experience.
  • Experience with Imperia Printing Software.
  • Basic SQL and Markem database knowledge.
  • Skills with Compac software.
  • Strong Bilingual skills.
  • Experience with MarKem Hardware.
