Process Technician 2nd shift

Job Description

The Process Technician is responsible for establishing all processing parameters for new tools and new jobs, ensuring high-quality production, and optimizing efficiency. This role collaborates with various departments and supports both production operations and technical troubleshooting. The technician plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction by ensuring product quality and consistent processing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and establish processing parameters for all new tools and new job starts. Ensure the highest quality standards are maintained throughout production. Provide recommendations during product and tool design phases to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Complete and maintain all required processing documentation. Troubleshoot and improve current processes to optimize productivity and quality. Respond promptly to machine issues and log all processing changes accordingly. Assist in training and mentoring Process Technician I staff. Collaborate with Tool Technicians to perform mold repairs. Assist Maintenance in repairing press components and robots. Complete all machine-related paperwork (set-up, start-up, machine adjustments). Interface regularly with Production, Engineering, Quality, customers, and suppliers to meet program goals.

Requirements:

4-5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding operations. Strong working knowledge of various plastic resins and their properties. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
