Job Description

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?
Under the guidance of the Shift Supervisor and/or Line Lead, the Production Operator is accountable for performing required tasks necessary to meet production goals on a production line in a team oriented environment. This is done with an emphasis on the following: 1. Employee Safety 2. Product Quality 3. Production Efficiencies Follow standard operating procedures and recipes Set up line following established equipment settings Fill out maintenance work orders and assists Maintenance Technicians as needed Maintain quality of product on production line by ensuring product standards are being followed Continually monitor product, to detect and resolve issues utilizing CI tools Track and/or fill out metrics required to accurately close out production work orders Aid in minimizing/elimination of process wastes using CI tools Maintain good housekeeping as established by Operator Duty Sheets and identify gaps and areas for improvement Perform Autonomous Maintenance (CILT clean, lube, inspect, and tighten) on production equipment Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Support Continuous Improvement expansion by participating and adhering to requirements as established by equipment/area sustainment boards Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives Flexible, open minded team player Follow all safety rules and rules as established in employee handbook The hours for this position are 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
HS diploma or GED preferred Manufacturing experience preferred 1-3 years of forklift driving preferred
