Ceramic Engineer Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Ceramic Engineer with 3+ years of industry experience to join our materials development and manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting ceramic materials, processes, and products for advanced electronic and industrial applications. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize ceramic materials, formulations, and manufacturing processes. Support production activities including powder processing, forming, sintering, metallization, and quality control. Investigate and resolve process-related issues to improve product performance, yield, and reliability. Design and execute experiments to evaluate new materials, process improvements, and cost-reduction opportunities. Analyze material and process data using statistical and engineering methods. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Ceramic Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on industrial experience in ceramic materials, processes, or manufacturing. Strong understanding of ceramic processing fundamentals, including powder preparation, forming, binder systems, sintering, and microstructure characterization. Experience with analytical and characterization techniques such as SEM, XRD, particle size analysis, density measurements, and thermal analysis. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on manufacturing excellence. Preferred Qualifications The following experience is highly desirable: Hands-on experience in Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitor (MLCC) and/or Low-Temperature Co-fired Ceramic (LTCC) manufacturing and process development. Experience formulating, mixing, and evaluating thick film pastes, including conductive, resistive, and dielectric compositions. Knowledge of screen-printing processes and thick-film circuit fabrication. Experience with ceramic tape casting, lamination, cofiring, and metallization. Familiarity with electronic ceramic materials and passive component manufacturing. Experience scaling laboratory processes to production environments
