POSITION SUMMARY
This role is instrumental in elevating welding standards, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering technical excellence throughout our manufacturing operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Design and deliver welding training programsfornew hires, apprentices, and experienced welders across multiple facilities. Instruct on various weldingtechniquesincluding MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). Develop curriculum and training materialsaligned with industry standards, company procedures, and certification requirements. Evaluate trainee performancethrough practical assessments and written exams, providing constructive feedback and coaching. Ensure compliance with safety protocolsand promote best practices in welding operations. Maintain welding equipment and training facilities, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment. Collaborate with engineering and operations teamsto align training with production needs and quality standards. Support certification processessuch as AWS, ASME, or company-specific qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) Prior experience in training, mentoring, or instructing welders. Proficiency in multiple welding processes and techniques. Strong understanding of welding codes, standards, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or Educator (CWE) certification is a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(required levels) High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or welding certification preferred. 5+ years of hands-on welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingor equivalent experience with training and curriculum designin an industrial environment
