Your Mission Design and architect robust tooling systems that raise product quality, accelerate throughput, and enable reliable, scalable manufacturing. What You'll Do Design, validate, and optimize production tooling to meet specifications, standard work, and industry codes. Invent improvement strategies—materials, coatings, geometry, and setup—that extend tool life and improve reliability. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to remove bottlenecks and solve complex line issues. Introduce innovative, cost‑effective tool modifications to elevate performance. Own the tool change control process with strict compliance to company procedures and regulatory requirements. Be the go‑to resource during new product launches and steady-state production for high-level troubleshooting. Produce accurate CAD drawings and keep BOMs and documentation current for downstream users. Lead by example on 5S principles to sustain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Adhere to safety, environmental, and quality systems to ensure operational excellence. Champion continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase process capability. Mentor engineers and operators, transferring practical design and problem-solving skills. Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Must Haves Education:
Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
4+ years of tooling design experience in a manufacturing setting. Advanced command of tooling design and core engineering principles with proven implementation success.
