Contract + full benefits + per diem Summary This onsite role will work closely with engineering, project management, MEP subcontractors, and field teams to resolve technical issues and support mechanical construction from design through installation. The ideal candidate has experience in mechanical construction, field engineering, or project engineering and understands how to take engineering requirements from drawings and specifications through field installation. Responsibilities Provide technical and field engineering support for mechanical/MEP construction activities. Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals for constructability and field execution. Manage and track RFIs, submittals, design conflicts, and technical documentation. Coordinate with mechanical subcontractors, engineering, procurement, project controls, and field supervision. Resolve design and field installation issues while supporting project schedule and quality requirements. Participate in client, subcontractor, and project coordination meetings. Support subcontractor planning, material tracking, and overall mechanical construction execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent technical training and experience. 3+ years of construction engineering, field engineering, or project engineering experience. Mechanical/MEP construction experience on mission-critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other large scale projects preferred. Knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and constructability. Strong technical problem solving, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, onsite construction environment. Valid driver's license required.
