Job Description

QC Conveyors, a Duravant Company, designs and manufactures innovative conveyor systems used in automated manufacturing environments across North America. Known for fast lead times, configurable conveyor platforms, and reliable performance, QC Conveyors supports OEM machine builders, automation integrators, material handling distributors, and manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Position Summary This Mechanical Engineering will be responsible for all phases of conveyor applications and special design in both 3D design space and a production environment. Projects will initiate with technical assistance to sales, design to specification, manufacturing details, bill of material production, vendor communication, assembly support, issue resolution, and change management. Position Duties & Responsibilities Develop basic 3D CAD models and layouts for new and existing products. Prepare and modify component drawings and other design documentation using established standards. Help organize product components and create assembly documentation, including Bills of Material. Apply basic dimensional and drawing requirements to ensure components can be manufactured and assembled properly. Review existing drawings and make updates or corrections based on project requirements and feedback. Provide basic technical information and documentation to assist the Sales team with customer and project requests. Work with suppliers and vendors to gather information related to components, materials, and product requirements. Assist with the setup and assembly of conveyor systems and prototypes for testing and evaluation. Record measurements, observations, and test results to help support product development and improvement. Prepare and maintain basic work instructions, procedures, and other internal documentation. Help develop and update product information and reference materials used by internal teams and customers. Follow established engineering practices, company procedures, and quality standards while completing assigned work. Perform other duties and projects as assigned Requirements
BSME/BSMET
from an accredited university or college with 1-5 years work experience OR associate degree and with 5-10 years experience in 3D solid modeling of mechanical or industrial machine components Utilized GD&T and
ANSI Y14.5
to interpret and technical drawings. Ability to work in both office and production environments. Experience managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Good communication with multiple departments and outside parties Problem-solving skills Attention to detail Creativity Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
