Process Engineer FeCr Mechanical/Electrical and instrumentation Equipment Process Engineer FeCr Mech/Ele., Equipment and Instrumentation duties and responsibilities: The position will be integral to success in the business and will be responsible for assisting in the designing, purchasing the equipment, program, installing and implementing process systems for the state-of-the-art manufacturing process. This role will include installation and providing operational support leading up to and once the facility is commissioned. Design Aid in drawing schematics that show how electrical components and panels work together to accomplish a process. Examine existing drawings and double-check them for reliability and manufacturability. Review logic flow diagrams and descriptions sufficient to create a ladder logic program. Aid in the design, layout, and installation of all new mechanical equipment. Examine drawings to ensure reliability and efficiency. Write and Document From approved control logic and mechanical function ability, use automation software and a programming language to assist in writing the program(s). Prepare operator documentation, including safety instructions for the program's intended use. Develop software programs and select hardware for HMI equipment utilizing Ethernet or equivalent communication protocol. Test Programs/Mechanical Equipment Before installation, determine test criteria, then test the new program and mechanical equipment for reliability and safety with automation equipment, including testing programs and equipment developed by third parties. 53 Middle Drive Fairless Hills, PA 19030 Install Programs/Mechanical Equipment Following successful demonstration of the program, installation into fully integrated equipment and commission equipment providing training, support and guidance to technicians to achieve a safe and efficient startup and operation. Provide Technical/Mechanical Support Provide ongoing technical support to users within the company, both verbally and by writing or revising operation manuals. Should any problems arise, troubleshoot the program and create solutions. Fine-tuning the productivity and dependability of their programs and machinery is an ongoing project. Education:
A technical bachelor's degree is preferred
Experience:
5 years of experience with design and installing process controls for the manufacturing & industrial industry. Including experience with programming, selecting equipment and overseeing the installation of the equipment. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work.
