Type:

full-time LMC is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who's ready to be the technical backbone of projects, not just designing parts, but owning the full arc from concept through installation and startup. If you've got 8+ years in industrial equipment or custom machinery and you're ready to lead rather than just execute, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design mechanical systems in 3D CAD, with the tolerances and documentation to back them up
  • Apply deep sheet metal and welding expertise to build solutions that are as manufacturable as they are innovative
  • Reverse-engineer existing equipment to squeeze out better performance and reliability
  • Run FAT/SAT testing, prototype validation, and troubleshoot system-level issues in the field
  • Manage multiple projects at once
  • Partner directly with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to turn requirements into real engineered solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with industrial equipment, automation, or custom-engineered systems
  • Deep sheet metal and welded-structure design experience
  • Strong 3D CAD skills and a track record of leading technical decisions, not just following them
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience with automated equipment or material handling systems
  • Design-for-manufacturing (DFM) know-how
  • Hands-on installation and commissioning experience
