Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school education. Some experience in the use of SolidWorks, PDM, SW Inspection. Mechanical aptitude and use of significant mathematical skills. Must be able to proofread documents, read blueprints, train others, complete production paperwork.
Responsibilities:
Following specified procedures, sound drafting techniques, alter layout and detail more complex drawings to suit engineering changes and initiate change orders using computer aided drafting programs in addition to manual drafting techniques. Calculate dimensions and specify standard allowances in accordance with established procedures when detail is sectionalized, or dimensions and allowances are not stated on layouts. Letter material specifications, part numbers and other technical data required. Prepare tracings, operate print duplicating and other copy machines, mount and repair drawings and prints, file drawings and perform other miscellaneous drafting room assignments. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Westbrook, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
