In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing and validation of complex systems, hardware, and software components. Your expertise will ensure that products meet rigorous quality standards and function seamlessly within integrated systems. Responsibilities Perform detailed testing, troubleshooting, and validation of engineering prototypes and production units across various disciplines including mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols aligned with project specifications and quality standards. Utilize CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks, and CATIA for 3D modeling and mechanical design verification. Analyze system performance using programming languages including Python, C++, C, MATLAB, and manage software development tasks related to system testing. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in hardware architecture, circuit design (including integrated circuits), network protocols, and system integration. Collaborate with project teams on system modeling, architecture design, and engineering troubleshooting to optimize product development processes. Support fabrication processes and manage maintenance of testing equipment to ensure consistent performance. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), schematics review, and engineering schematics interpretation during testing phases. Lead or assist managing software development teams or engineering teams in system validation activities while practicing lean manufacturing principles where applicable. Experience Proven experience in engineering testing within manufacturing or industrial environments with a focus on product validation or system integration. Strong background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering or related fields with hands-on experience in fabrication and mechanical design. Familiarity with project scheduling tools and managing multiple testing projects simultaneously. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks for 3D modeling for product design purposes. Programming skills in Python, C++, C, MATLAB for automation of tests and data analysis; experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Knowledge of system architecture including hardware architecture and system modeling techniques. Experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing setting involving engineering troubleshooting, root cause analysis, maintenance procedures, and system validation processes. Understanding of network protocols, integrated circuits (ICs), digital schematics, GD&T standards, and electronics fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
