POSITION OVERVIEW

Plan, schedule and implement the daily mine surveying activities at Ray Complex.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Export designs from Mine planning software into Trimble Geomatics Office and Trimble Business Center into Trimble Data Collector for field work. Perform daily blast hole sampling. Assist in uploading pattern designs into the high precision drill systems. Surveys and establishes controls in and out of the pit. Create shot maps in mine planning software and assist in delineating ore/waste splits and staking controls in field. Establish elevation control at mining faces, haulage roads, and dump locations. Assist in layout waste dumps limits, haul roads, designs and maintain accurate progress maps. Assist Redline Engineer with Monthly Close Surveys. Participate in the continuous improvement of practices and procedures in the Engineering Department.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong interpersonal skills in developing consensus building. Must have excellent computer skills with MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook and AutoCAD. Working knowledge of Trimble-GPS equipment and software. Working knowledge of Auto Level surveying equipment, techniques, and software. Must be able to manage time effectively and set priorities. Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks. Must havevaliddriver's license. Must be able to deal with high stress and the elements. Must be able to perform fieldwork, lift 50lbs, and walk over rough terrain, sit, stand, bend, climb stairs/ladders. Must be willing to work after scheduledshift.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One (1) year of college or Technical School in a related field (preferred). • One (1) year survey experience in mining or construction environment (preferred) English language fluency. At least CEFR B2 -

Upper Intermediate:

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. A core value of
